Network Marketing - Always About People

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on May 5th, 2007

Network marketing, always and forever, will be a people business. Some will say, it is just a numbers game where you throw enough mud against the wall and hope some will stick. Some “recruiter types” view the business that way, and simply discard prospects who don’t sign up immediately, or who ask for “too much information”.

This is not the way to build a long-lasting and profitable network marketing business. People are not numbers – they are humans who have dreams and desires just like you do. Your job is to help them achieve the level of success they desire with their business. Some will desire just a part-time commitment and income to match. Others will shoot for a full-time business to get them out of a job or career path that they hate.

To help your downline folks achieve their goals, you must have a desire to be a mentor, and a willingness to patiently work with them. Sometime your downline people just don’t grow and move up in the business as fast as you think they should. Sometime they will temporarily quit doing the right things required to be successful. Life events and changes sometime get in the way of our very best downline associates. Just treat each person as an individual, and work with them to build their business at whatever pace is comfortable for them. Don’t give up if you feel someone moves too slowly. Work with them and be an encourager.

This is the way to ultimate long-term success in network marketing.

The Law of Attraction states, “We attract into our lives what we think about most.” So if we keep thinking about not wanting something or disliking something that is happening to us, then guess what? Yes, it keeps happening to us. Therefore, to make the Law Attraction work effectively for you in your favor, you need to be in a positive mindset, and the first thing you need to do is to Build Your Self Esteem.I recently came across an interview with Bob Proctor by Stephen Pierce.
