You do need training in how to build your business, and with good opportunities this is provided by your company and proven successful upline leaders. Be sure to find out what training and support is available, and don’t hesitate to ask all questions that come to mind. Your potential sponsor should be willing to work with you. If all you hear is hype and empty assurances, run!

2) You need to choose a product that you feel good about. Don’t choose a product based on a current fad, or trend. Pick something that has lasting value and appeal in the marketplace. Products based on current fads or trends will not last. You want to build a long-term residual income here. If a product’s appeal seems to be based around spectacular claims, beware.

3) To be successful, you need to have a willingness to talk to people. You don’t have to be a “sales type”. You can learn how to approach prospects. You can use tools provided by your company to present the business opportunity. It is just the desire, the willingness to learn that is crucial to success.
