Don’t Give Up on Network Marketing Too Soon!

Many budding entrepreneurs get started in MLM or network marketing, and give up within a year or two. Why does this happen? It goes without saying that this business is not for everyone. However, for anyone truly motivated to build a home based income, network marketing and MLM offer them a chance to do that with a small investment to start.

There are two key concepts that cause many people to give up on their business before it has had a chance to develop.

1) Expectations not in line with reality. Some of these false expectations include:

The belief that everyone we talk to is going to be interested in our business.

Success in MLM and network marketing is easy.

No need to worry about training, just jump in and start talking to people.

A few new recruits is all you need to build a lifetime residual income.

Do not fall into these traps.

2) Starting your business too slowly.

It is important to get off to a quick start in network marketing. This creates excitement and helps you get through the unavoidable rejections that are a normal part of prospecting. Start identifying and contacting prospects right away. Do significant actions toward building your business, every day (placing ads, talking to prospects, making appointments to talk to prospects) – action steps.

Success in network marketing and MLM is based on attitude and effort. Go in with realistic, positive objectives and get into action quickly. This builds momentum, and momentum fuels ever increasing growth and success!
