Network Marketing - Hitting the Wall

They start out very enthused and positive, do the right things, but then “hit the wall” when things seem to be developing more slowly than they like.
This is very normal. When starting your business, there are high expectations. If you don’t feel you’re meeting those expectations within a certain time frame, discouragement and sluggishness can set in. Here are three things you can do that help.
1) Know that this discouragement, this feeling of “hitting the wall”, will pass. Sometime this is caused by the influence of negative people around you. Ignore them. Don’t take business advice from people who are not successful in business, or who are not where YOU want to be. Understand that it takes time, doing the right things, to get a momentum going in your business. It may not happen for three months, or six months. Just watch for signs of *some* progress and hang on!
2) Make sure you have goals and objectives for your business that excite and inspire you. If your goals are not clear and written down, they won’t sustain you and give you the endurance to break through any discouragement you face. If you cannot visualize, and FEEL, what you want your business to do for you - it is time to figure that out. You have to have a “why” that really motivates you to action.
3) Even during the most discouraging hours, continue working your business consistently and doing the right things. Consult with your successful upline members and let them help you work out an action plan to achieve your goals. Stay on track and work your business every day, even when you don’t feel like it.
“Hitting the wall” is hard. It is at this point that many network marketers just give up and quit. Don’t let this happen to you - this is a business - and it takes time and patience to build it up. Never quit!
