Talking About Your Network Marketing Business
Have you started a network marketing or MLM business? Do you feel all excited about the potential, yet still find it hard to talk to people about your products and business? Don’t feel bad - this isn’t all that uncommon. Being afraid (or shy) about talking to people can stop your business cold before you ever get started.
There are ways to overcome this. One important thing to do - make sure you truly have a strong belief in your business. Another important thing - do you have a well-defined and written goal for your business that really excites you? For example, you may strongly dislike your job. Does the thought of building a home-based income and quitting that job excite you? Can you visualize it? Take a moment and relax, and picture what your life might be like when you are financially free and doing what you want to do. If you really want this, and imagine it vividly, it will give you courage to get out and break through reluctance to communicate with others about your business.
There are many low-key ways to introduce your business. Your company or upline support group should have tools available that explain the business (booklets, audio CD’s, and DVD presentations are most common). You can usually obtain these tools fairly inexpensively, and give them to potential prospects. Just ask them to listen. Once they know what your business is about, you will find it much easier to talk to them.
I could go on page after page on this subject alone. The one key thing I want to emphasize here: build your belief, and visualize the desired end result of your business-building efforts. Visualize this until it feels REAL. That will motivate you, and help overcome all obstacles!
