Belief in Network Marketing

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 11th, 2007
If you want to be successful in network marketing, you must believe that the network marketing industry makes sense as a business method for you. Network Marketing does makes sense for most people, because it is so powerful and so flexible. For the majority of people looking for a home based business, network marketing is likely the only way they'll have an opportunity to build a substantial and large income while also having time freedom and flexibility for themselves, their families, and whatever else is important to them. Here are some brief comments to illustrate that point. Robert Kiyosaki, author of the popular "Rich Dad, Poor Dad" series of business books, explains that there are four ways people can earn income: 1) ...

My Experience with Watkins

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 10th, 2007
I received an email from a prospective Watkins associate tonight. This gentleman asked what my experience has been with the Watkins business. Here is a portion of my reply. I came to Watkins with more experience in MLM and network marketing than most. I tried several opportunities over a period of about ten years, and had finally started to have some success with one of them. As luck would have it, the company behind that particular opportunity folded up and closed the doors overnight. This was a new, unproven company that marketed nutritional products. Distributors signed up for a monthly autoship of the company's flagship product, and sponsored others to do the same. It actually worked pretty well. When that company went ...

Aloe Vera is a popular medicinal plant known since ancient times. It is a succulent plant that resembles a cactus, but it is actually a member of the lily family. The pure aloe gel found in the leaves is used for external applications, and is often used to help heal burns, insect bites, rashes, and minor cuts and scrapes. Aloe is also taken internally for its many healthful benefits. Aloe is grown mainly in the dry regions of Africa, Asia, Europe and America. Because of its popularity, it is commercially cultivated in the United States as well as other countries across the globe. Many households have a potted aloe vera plant ready to provide soothing relief. Watkins Aloe Vera Juice is 99.7% ...

Benefits of a Home Based Business

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 7th, 2007
You're thinking of starting a home based business, perhaps because you are tired or fed up with your job. You resent answering the call of the alarm every morning, and want to change your life and get out of the rut. Working from home is a far different way of life when compared to traditional employment. It offers financial and lifestyle benefits that are very attractive. When you think of someone starting a home business, you may assume that money is the main reason. The desire to earn greater income is certainly a motivator, but not always the prime motivator. I have a relative who started a business from his home a few years ago, selling educational computer software. He has ...

Home Business Basics - Overcoming Procrastination

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 6th, 2007
Procrastination is one of those sneaky little things that can dramatically slow the growth of your home based business. It causes you to put off or neglect doing the essentials that drive your business to success. A network marketing business like Watkins is incredibly simple and profitable, but neglecting or putting off doing the right things will cause your business to grow much more slowly than it could. All of us have days when we just don't feel like doing what we need to do for our home business. We wake up with the best of intentions, but despite that it still doesn't happen. Not only do we have "those days”, we most likely can point to scenarios like this every ...

Network Marketing - Attitude for Success

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 4th, 2007
How often do you see new network marketing associates get started with the attitude of “I’m going to give this a try”? While I admire the effort, the “try” attitude can be the beginning of failure for the new entrepreneur. If a new network marketer has a preconceived idea of how long it will take to achieve success, and they don’t achieve success in that time frame, they tend to think it doesn’t work and often give up. Network marketing is easy, and at the same time hard. The fundamental things you need to do for success are easy, but hard for many people to implement. Talking about your business, using the phone, following up on prospects, all of these ...

Grow Your Network Marketing Business in January

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 3rd, 2007
The month of January is one of the very best for sponsoring new associates into your network marketing business. In Watkins, we have some of our best growth during this time. There are different reasons for this, but a couple of things stand out. 1) It is a new year, and many people enjoy setting goals and making new beginnings this month. I personally believe that any time is a good time to make a new beginning or start a new project, and it doesn't have to be the beginning of a year or any particular time. However, for many people, there is something different about starting fresh at the New Year. For everyone joining your business this month, make a ...

A New Look at Watkins Black Pepper

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 2nd, 2007
The following information is courtesy of Randy & Jan Robinson, my very supportive and helpful upline Executives! Watkins Black Pepper is one of the classic products that Watkins is very famous for. It was introduced into the Watkins product line in 1895 along with Vanilla and Cinnamon. The Watkins men of old used to tell their customers to smell the pepper and if they sneezed, they'd get the can of pepper for free. Since Watkins pepper is granulated instead of crushed or ground like other brands, there's no filler and no dust to make people sneeze. Black pepper is, without a doubt, the world’s most popular and important spice. Of the total spice usage nationwide, about a third is devoted to ...

What is Different About Network Marketing?

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on January 1st, 2007
As the year 2007 begins, there are many people out there looking for a home based business (like Watkins). Some want to make a small part-time income consistently. Others are so sick of their job or their financial situation that they want to "build it big" - and achieve financial freedom. Whatever the reason, a network marketing opportunity like Watkins has significant advantages over other types of business. Network marketing (sometime called "MLM" or "referral marketing") is based on the concept that you get paid when you find new consumers for your company's products. If you find a new restaurant that you really like, you will often tell your friends and family about it. When they visit that restaurant, do you ...
