A Magic Key to Success in Network Marketing

Posted in Watkins Business by Eldon on November 18th, 2006

Success with a Watkins business, or any other home based business, depends on working your business on a daily or consistent basis. In most cases, your success with your business will be limited if you are not consistent in your efforts. Consider the following quote.

“When nothing seems to help, I go and look at a stonecutter, hammering away at his rock, perhaps a hundred times without as much as a crack showing in it. Yet at the hundred and first blow it will split in two, and I know that it was not that blow that did it, but all that had gone before.” - Jacob Riis

This illustrates the key to why consistency is so critical to your success in network marketing or direct sales. When you are just starting your business, nothing may seem to work. You talk to people, place ads, send out information, answer emails, everything you can do to build your new home based business. You might reach a point where you feel that you’ve put in far more effort than it was worth for the results you’ve obtained. You might even consider quitting your business at this point.

Hang in there! If you are involved with a reputable business opportunity like Watkins, and you are following the training provided by your successful upline associates, you will succeed. Life and business are sometimes strange. You can have two people just starting a home based business doing the same things. One might get off to a fast and furious start, while the other seems to move very slowly. However, after a year, both of these associates will be experiencing similar levels of success. For reasons unknown, both new associates worked their business consistently, but the first associate had more of their initial success in the beginning.

Whatever network marketing or direct sales business you are involved with, please follow the example provided by your successful upline leaders. Don’t try to re-invent the wheel and do things your way. Follow proven success principles and work your business daily or consistently. Achieve success first, then branch out and try new approaches if you wish. The most important thing to remember - stick with it and be consistent in what you do. Failure to work your business on a daily or consistent basis is a major reason that network marketers and direct sales people fail to make money and build profitable businesses.
