Say No to Dream Crushers

Some of your friends and acquaintances may seem to get a twisted sense of joy by telling you horror stories of someone they know who failed at a home based business fifteen years ago. Don’t let these kinds of people get you down - just understand that they are usually just giving themselves an excuse for not trying to improve their own lives. Some people get bitter because they haven’t achieved their own dreams or “made it”, so they take delight in tearing down the dreams and hopes of others.
You might even get negative input from a family member or close friend who either wants to “protect” you from failure or who secretly fears what will happen if you succeed. Just let them know that you feel strongly that this business can help you achieve your goals, and that you’d like for them to keep an open mind while you give it your best shot.
Remember, everyone has a choice. Some people choose to lift themselves up and improve their lives. Others choose to drift along, so to speak, and truly resent anyone who doesn’t just accept circumstances and give up. Make it a habit to associate with positive people who have similar ambitions to yours. Stand up, go for it, and don’t let the doubters crush your dreams!
